Kasm generally supports versions up to two versions older than the current version. Older Kasm versions can be directly upgraded to newer versions with the exception of upgrading from a version lower than version 1.11.0. If upgrading from a version older than 1.11.0, it is recommended to first upgrade to version 1.11.0, verify your upgraded deployment, then upgrade once more to the latest version of Kasm.

The Kasm UI (web portal user interface) can be reached by opening a web browser and navigating to the IP address or Hostname of your Kasm Single Server or your Kasm Webapp role server. If your deployment uses domain names create an A record or CNAME for your domain name to point towards your Kasm Single Server or Kasm Webapp role servers. If you are using a load balancer or a reverse proxy to forward traffic to Kasm, to reach the web UI end users will use the IP address or Hostname of the load balancer or reverse proxy. This will allow them to reach any of the available Kasm Webapp role servers on the backend of the load balancer or proxy.
